A little about myself, I’m 55 years old, I live in New Mills. I’ve loved music since I can’t remember when, I was bought up with The Beatles, Stones, Scott Walker etc by my Mum & Dad, my sister got me into Bowie, Roxy Music, Mott the Hoople in the early to mid 70’s – then I discovered punk, post punk, new wave etc – but I loved all genres of music, except Country (except Johnny Cash – he gets a free pass!?) – I got into DJ’ing when I was still at school and ended up working in clubs during the 80s and early 90s – I worked in the Music business for a few years in the 90s which I loved – everyday was a busman’s holiday! I still love to discover new bands and sounds and thankfully now that lockdown has stopped I’m going to as many gigs as possible.

Music is my drug, pure and simple.
